Dressing room with warm LED-lit display niches set into a wall of soft white cabinetry

This nearly 400-square-metre family home had already undergone an extensive renovation, but the downstairs layout and the overall interior still needed to evolve to better reflect our changing lifestyle and personal style.

The transformation focused on softening the home’s previously cooler and more decorative aesthetic through a warmer colour palette, cleaner details and more timeless choices. Rather than starting from scratch, we kept the elements that worked and gradually transformed the home around them.

A significant part of the project focused on rethinking the downstairs layout. A large open landing and an existing storage room were transformed to create two new bedrooms and a dedicated home office area, making previously underused spaces an integral part of the home. Custom-built storage was designed as part of the new spaces, including an illuminated display cabinet and an integrated dressing table.

The project was developed in collaboration with interior designer Henriikka Niinimäki of Tilako, particularly on the bespoke cabinetry solutions.
